Le Marche has been known in Italy for many years for beautiful and special wines. The wines from Le Marche are not only destined to be consumed by locals and Italian tourists. More and more “Vini Marchesi” is found in the shops at the Dutch and Belgian liquor stores. Le Marche is well known for its white wines, but there are also red wines of exceptional quality. The main grape varieties in this region are the Verdicchio, Trebbiano, Montepulciano and Sangiovese. In addition, there are also some special grape varieties such as the Lacrima di Morro d’Alba, Offida Pecorino and the Passerina. Numerous wineries can be found in our area.

A renowned winery in the immediate vicinity of Penna San Giovanni. Tenuta Murola offers professional tours of the vineyards and cellars, followed by guided tastings. The focus is on elegant red wines and refined white varieties. Reservations are required.
Vini Gagliardi – San Severino Marche (± 45 min)

An organic winery with a focus on sustainability. Tastings take place in a rural setting and are often combined with explanations about organic winemaking and local gastronomy.
Antica Cantina Sant’Amico – Morro d’Alba (± 1 uur en 25 min)
A traditional winery specializing in Lacrima di Morro d’Alba. Visitors are given a tour of the historic cellar and taste wines that are deeply connected to the local identity.
